People's health — care of the city

It's the motto of The 2d Medical Forum of the city, which has started today in Sibexpocentre. About 40 Irkutsk medical institutions take part in this forum, participants report on their achievements in front of colleagues and citizens. The first forum, that was organized last year, was mainly focused on experts, but the current — on ordinary citizens. Everybody had absolutely free access to the following medical procedures: cardio examination, diagnosis of HIV infection, blood sugar, cholesterol; measurement of blood pressure, visual acuity, ultrasound, etc.
In addition, in these days some lectures will be organized: "The risk factors for cardiovascular disease," "Allergies — a disease of civilization", "Bronchial asthma is under control", also there will be special lectures for women.
Professionals also have a good chance to exchange experience with their colleagues.
